Helping parents navigate US education and college admissions
EduVistaHQ exists for one reason: the US education system and the college admissions process are genuinely confusing to navigate, especially if you didn't grow up in it yourself. Our goal is to put trustworthy information, practice tools, and local education providers all in one place, so parents can make good decisions for their kids without having to piece everything together from a dozen different sources.
That shows up across the site in practical ways: a directory of local tutoring centers, test prep, and extracurriculars; a free Learning Hub with grade-appropriate practice activities; SAT/ACT and state test practice; a Career Exploration Quiz; and a set of plain-English guides covering the parts of the system that rarely get explained clearly, like how US grading actually works, IEP and 504 plans, FAFSA, and how a child's prior schooling maps onto the US grade system.

Bhanumathy Gunasekharan
Academic Advisor · 50 Years in EducationBhanumathy is an Academic Advisor for multiple schools in India whose career in education now spans fifty years, nearly thirty of them leading schools directly as Principal, and the last twenty working as Academic Advisor across several institutions at once.
Her work stretches across State Board, CBSE, and CBSE International curricula, where she has personally built academic systems from the ground up. Under her guidance, schools have reached a 100% pass rate in the 12th grade board exams and earned multiple state-level awards for academic performance. Alongside that, she has spent years training leadership teams and working hand in hand with teachers and school management to put systems in place that outlast any single class or exam cycle.
With experience in technology, education advocacy, parent leadership, and community service, Sainthavi brings a collaborative perspective and a strong belief in creating meaningful opportunities for students and families. EduVistaHQ was built out of that same experience: figuring out, often from scratch, how an education system actually works, backed on one side by decades spent building school systems in India, and on the other by firsthand experience navigating the US system as an outsider to it.
