What is inside

Everything for learning to read

Guided lessons

10 step-by-step lessons teach the first letter sounds and your first blended words. The full 72-lesson course is coming soon.

Sound Studio

Hear every sound in a clear female or male voice, see the letter, and read a simple tip for how the mouth makes it.

Decodable stories

Read a story that uses only the sounds learned so far. Read to me, or read it by myself.

Two calm games

Sound Safari: hear a sound and find the picture. Blend Builder: slide sounds together to build words and grow your own world.

Phonics done gently

Teach /m/, not “muh”

Every sound is said cleanly, without an extra vowel tacked on, and each one has a picture word and a mouth tip. Sounds, words and sentences are all recorded in two voices, a woman's and a man's, so children hear different speakers.
