What is free
Free now, more on the way
The Coding Lab opens with your free EduVistaHQ parent account, the same one account that opens the Typing Lab and the English Lab. The free part is a complete start in coding, and there is nothing to buy today. More lessons and projects are planned for later.
Coding Lab, free with your account
- 8 complete Block Coding lessons: sequences, turns, repeats, nested repeats and drawing with loops.
- 10 complete Python lessons: print, strings, numbers, variables, input, error messages and a greeting bot.

- Bug Hunt, a five-round debugging game.
- Three guided projects: Animated Greeting, Greeting Bot and Number Guesser.
- A blocks beside Python activity, progress, stars, streaks and badges saved for each child in your parent account.
More in the Coding Lab

- Coding challenges, quizzes, certificates and personalized review of the ideas that are hardest.
- More debugging and project-building games.
- A private project gallery, multiple learner profiles and learning summaries for parents and teachers.
These are not open to families yet. We have not decided how they will open, and we will tell parents first.
Coding Lab has no ads, no public chat, no public projects and no leaderboards. The code a child writes never leaves their device. See the privacy policy.
