How practice feels

Adaptive, one fact at a time

A short warm-up finds a good place to start. Facts that are still growing come back more often, and secure ones are checked now and then so they stay secure.

No timers by default

Accuracy comes first. A quiet timer and a one-minute check are there if a learner wants them, and both are optional and easy to hide.

Pictures and strategies

Number lines, ten frames, arrays, fact triangles and short stories. When a mistake repeats, the Lab shows the fact a different way and offers a clever idea.

Hints, never pressure

A hint comes in small steps: an idea, an example, then a nudge to draw it. Skip a question for now and it simply comes back later.

Private progress

Only counts and dates are saved: which facts are growing and when they are due. Nothing a child types leaves the device, and progress is never compared with other learners.
