Anime Art Academy is an online school where professional Japanese animators, illustrators, and manga artists teach anime and manga drawing, entirely in English. Students learn through video lessons, and for each lesson's assignment they post the drawing they made. A Japanese professional then sends back written advice and red-pen corrections. Courses run from beginner to advanced, as monthly subscriptions or one-time lesson packs. A free trial course with two lessons and personal feedback is available, and no credit card is needed.
